Ikigai
A Reason For Being
Lately, I've been dedicating a substantial amount of time to self-examination, outdoor physical activities, and keeping a diary. I have a feeling that I'm on the cusp of some significant transformations in my life, and I've been focusing on probing deeply into my own psyche to tap into my latent talents.
I'm excited to share a captivating activity I engaged in recently that has dramatically influenced my life's approach.
In Japan, there's a principle known as Ikigai, which means 'a reason for being'. I stumbled upon an image that uniquely and beautifully illustrates this profound concept.
Ikigai: A Reason For Being
Ikigai functions as a powerful mechanism for introspection on one's life's purpose.
Upon viewing this image, I was driven to document my thoughts. I quickly seized a pen, located a sheet of paper, and penned down my personal Ikigai. This activity turned out to be a beneficial way to gain insight into the crossroads of my abilities and passions.
It has offered me a criterion to evaluate startup concepts and decide which pursuits warrant my "yes".
Ultimately, our existence is molded by the actions we decide to take and, significantly, the ones we decide to forgo.
I'm confident that if I lean towards activities that resonate with my Ikigai, travel more (despite the restrictions of school runs), aid entrepreneurs, facilitate people's lives through automation, surround myself with individuals from whom I can learn, and aim for mindfulness and a deeper bond with the Almighty, I will lead a rewarding life.
I trust that this soulful journey towards my Ikigai will augment the tranquility and joy I find in life and help me in realizing my ultimate potential.
I'm eager to discover where this journey will lead me.
I'm resolved to say "ABSOLUTELY YES" to things that harmonize with my soul and dismiss the rest. Let's observe how this experiment evolves.
Here's to the transformative journey of the Soul and Entrepreneurship.
